Daniel Croke Brisbane stamp collecting
Daniel John Croke lives in Brisbane Queensland. Daniel has an unbounded passion for collecting Australian stamps which evolved from his experiences as a child sitting with his father John Croke and going through stamp collections. John Croke lived in Sunnybank Brisbane and loved collecting all things old, from furniture and antiques to stamps and coins. John also loved to buy and sell Real Estate. John Croke thought of himself as a valuer of stamps, collectables and antiques.
As a young man, Daniel Croke bought and sold stamps and made money from this unique type of investment. Daniel always relied on John’s advice as an amateur collectable valuer.
Dan and John Croke regularly did the rounds of garage sales in Sunnybank and swap meets around Brisbane where they added to their stamp collections. It was a fantastic experience for father and son to be both so passionate about stamps and collecting.
John Croke retired from his duties as an amateur stamp valuer years ago and now Daniel Croke carries the torch. We thought this was a fantastic piece of the Croke family history to be shared with the rest of Dan Croke’s family.
